Warming up with storm chances moving in

There are two main parts to the forecast in the coming days. It’s going to be warm/hot and storms are possible.
On Thursday, it warms up but it’ll be close to normal. Highs are usually in the upper 80s this time of year.
It will be muggy, though. Dew points will be well into the 70s.
Because of the heat and humidity, the heat index will climb into the low to mid 90s.
Next up is the storm chance. Strong to isolated severe storms are possible on Thursday.
Above is what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing, duration, and location of the storms.
The threat for severe storms is out there on Friday, too, but more to the west.
The best chance for storms on Friday will be in the morning (above) then again in the afternoon.
