Hot, but not as hot, storm chances increase

The heat is going to stick around for a while and storm chances are on the increase.

A Heat Advisory is in place for our viewing area Saturday. The heat index will be around 105 by the afternoon.

Temperatures in the afternoon will be in the middle 90s.

The dew point will be in the middle 70s, so high, just not as high as the last few days.

The heat index will be in the 100-105 degree range most of the afternoon.

Storms start to move in by noon on Saturday.

The severe weather threat is small, but not zero. A Marginal Risk is in place to the north.

And will linger through 4-6pm Saturday afternoon.
