One more hot day
Excessive heat is expected through Tuesday, then cooler air moves back in. Storms possible on and off this week.
An EXTREME HEAT WARNING is in place through Tuesday, July 21st. The heat index will climb into the 110-116 degree range Tuesday afternoon.
Afternoon highs will be in the middle and upper 90s.
The dew point will be in the middle and upper 70s. Ugh.
The heat index will be around 110 to 116 by the afternoon. This can lead to heat illness if you don’t prepare!
A cold front will be moving through later today bring with it some relief from the heat and humidity, but it’s bringing a storm chance, too.
Isolated strong storms will be possible Tuesday afternoon into the early evening.
By Wednesday, it’s will be MUCH cooler!
