Sunny, Pleasant for Tuesday

A pleasant day ahead on Tuesday with seasonable temperatures and plenty of sunshine across the Heartland.

A quiet run of StormCast for the first half of the work week. One thing to note will be the chances for fog on Tuesday and Wednesday morning.

Low temperatures will fall to the lower and middle 60s by early Tuesday morning. Winds are expected to stay on the lighter side through the overnight hours.

There is a chance for patchy areas of fog once again tonight in Cape Girardeau, otherwise calm with mostly clear skies.

High temperatures will be close to average on Tuesday afternoon for most of the viewing area. Temperatures will range from the middle to upper 80s with a light breeze.

We are looking at a pleasant Tuesday afternoon in Cape, with highs reaching the upper 80s with plenty of sunshine.

We stick around the middle and upper 80s for most of the work week. Chances for showers and thunderstorms ramp up on Thursday and will continue into the weekend. Chances for severe weather will continue to be monitored as we get closer to the end of the week.
