Heat and humidity will continue to create uncomfortable conditions throughout the work week. A Heat Advisory is in place for most of the viewing area until 8 p.m. CDT on Thursday, August 13, with feels-like temperatures near 110 degrees.

Wednesday marks the return of severe weather for the northeastern corner of the viewing area. A Marginal Risk (Level 1 out of 5) of severe weather is in place, as isolated severe storms will be possible.
