Summer Heat & SEVERE Storms Wednesday
A VERY HOT, muggy and breezy day is ahead, with afternoon feels-like temperatures peaking near 106-113 degrees. Temperatures will reach the upper 90s with dew points in the upper 70s! Rain & storms start near 4pm & continue through 11pm.
The main threats Wednesday evening into Thursday morning will be STRONG WINDS up to 65+ mph, Hail up to half dollars or greater, isolated tornado threat and flooding. TIMING: 4PM -11PM Wednesday.

A few brief weak tornadoes could occur from 4-7pm across the Illinois and Kentucky area.
4-6PM: Storms will move into the Illinois & Kentucky area, carrying all hazards. Damaging winds, hail and a brief tornado threat. A few storms could form in SE Missouri also. We have to watch for that, as those storms will carry a wind and hail threat.
7-10PM: Storms will continue to push SE with some strong winds in areas of SE Missouri, Kentucky and even Tennessee.
Rainfall through Thursday morning, looks to range from 0.25″-0.75″+ with the heavier amounts into Illinois & Kentucky.
