Partly Sunny, Pleasant Close to the Weekend

Partly to mostly cloudy skies highlight the forecast to end the weekend. Highs will be pleasant in the upper 70s, with a light northeasterly wind.

Similar temperatures, just a couple of degrees warmer for the start of the work week in the Heartland. Highs will reach the upper 70s and lower 80s.

Rain chances pick up during the back half of the work week as an upper-level disturbance moves through. This system will bring tropical moisture from the remnants of Hurricane Polo, which sets the region up for heavy rainfall totals through the next seven days.

Pleasant weather continues through the end of the month, with soggy conditions for the start of October. Daily chances of precipitation will try to continue into next weekend.
