Sunny Close to the Weekend, Dry Week Ahead
Cloud cover will persist through Sunday morning, with gradual clearing throughout the afternoon. Temperatures will warm up to the upper 70s to end the weekend in the Heartland.
StormCast shows cloud cover clearing out of the area shortly after lunchtime. Clear skies will continue through the afternoon and into Monday morning.
Sunday afternoon will feature a mixed bag of 70s and 80s across the viewing area. Winds will be out of the north, making for a pleasant afternoon with lower dew points.
Cloud cover will clear out through the afternoon in Cape Girardeau as temperatures climb to the upper 70s.
A touch cooler for the start of the work week, though Monday afternoon highs will be near our average mark for early October.
Dry conditions look to take over the forecast for the upcoming work week. Precipitation chances will be minimal, if any, through the first half of October.
Afternoon temperatures will build gradually through the week ahead. Highs return to the 80s heading into next weekend under mostly sunny skies. Dry weather looks to be a mainstay in the long-term forecast.
