Storms on Tuesday, cooling off

Another mild day is expected Tuesday, but a cold front will roll through giving us storm chances and eventually some cooler air.

The first half of the day will be dry and warm, but storms move in as early as the afternoon.

Above is what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing, duration, and location of the storm chances Tuesday.

As the storms move in Tuesday afternoon and evening, a few storms may be strong to severe. There is a level 1 Marginal Risk in place for this potential.

Heavy rain is also a possibility. May areas may see over an inch of rain by very early Wednesday.

Highs will be in the middle and upper 70s Tuesday. Another day well above average.
