Snow late Sunday into Monday (12/25/22)
There is a Winter Weather Advisory in place for part of the KBSI viewing area starting at midnight tonight and going into Monday. An inch or two of snow will be possible. Travel may become difficult through Monday.
Most areas are looking at an inch or so through Monday, but some isolated areas may see up to 2″. The wind will be out of the southwest tonight and northwest Monday at 10 to 20 mph, so a little blowing snow will be possible.
Tonight will drop into the upper teens and lower 20s. It’ll be chilly so the snow that does fall will be very fluffy.
We’ll eventually warm up into the middle and upper 30s on Monday, so some of the snow that falls during the day will try to melt off a little during the afternoon.
