Shelby Brown

KBSI multimedia journalist Shelby Brown is dedicated to telling the stories of the heartland.

Originally from Zalma, Missouri, Shelby’s roots on a family farm inspired her early interest in writing and community storytelling. She is currently a student at Southeast Missouri State University, specializing in multimedia journalism to further her professional impact.

A resident of Scott City and a proud mother of four, Shelby spends her time outside the newsroom traveling and staying active through hiking and volleyball.
