Dominic Ferraro
Dominic spent much of his early childhood afraid of storms, but that fear soon turned into a fascination with the weather.
He has lived in Lincoln for most of his life and has been a Huskers fan since birth.
Dominic originally planned to pursue a career in forecasting with the National Weather Service, but he changed direction after job shadowing several times at KLKN during high school and college.
He interned at KLKN during the summer of 2024, solidifying his passion for communicating the weather story to the public.
Dominic graduated from University of Nebraska–Lincoln in May 2025 with a degree in meteorology and climatology, along with minors in broadcasting and mathematics.
In his free time, Dominic enjoys spending time with friends and family, attending Husker football games, being outdoors and making music.
