PDQ
Community Counseling Center Foundation is charged with the goal of supporting Community Counseling Center and through our support of Community Counseling Center we can help possibly prevent others from losing their battle to mental illness and taking their lives.
Across the world, suicide rates have risen. The month of September is chosen to recognize suicide prevention and raise awareness.
“We raise money through different means. We have t-shirts that we sell. We also do yard signs. We’ve asked the businesses to partner with us. PDQ offered to support Community Counseling Center Foundation,” said Michelle Ramsey, executive director of the Community Counseling Center Foundation.
“We think it’s extremely important to bring awareness to suicide and participate in Suicide Awareness Month throughout the month of September and we believe it’s a great organization to support the community in southeast Missouri,” said Jeromy Fritz, President of PDQ Quality Printing.
“Anytime we can get involved with local businesses, that is huge, because we are in a small community,” said Ramsey. “We are asking businesses to sponsor with a yard sign in their yards, purchase shirts for their staff to wear.”
“During the month of September, PDQ will be selling tickets, $5 each,” said Fritz. “500 tickets total for $2,500 with a matching contribution from PDQ for $2,500 for the foundation. The raffle ticket purchased will be purchased for the drawing of a Yeti cooler with all of the items totaling about $600.”
PDQ is sponsoring the raffle and their funds that are raised make a huge difference, said Ramsey.
To purchase tickets, stop by PDQ in Cape Girardeau at 334 S Plaza Way Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
