An isolated shower is not totally out of the question early Monday. However, the latest data is trending towards a drier Monday afternoon. In fact, there may be quite a bit of sunshine. That said, a few more storms are possible late Monday as an upper-level wave passes to our north.

We’re moving the Skeeter Meter back into the “High” territory on Monday given how many dry hours there may be during the day. It’ll still be hot and humid though, which necessitates the “High” category for the Skeeter Meter over the next several days.

Some of the latest computer model guidance is now starting to hint at a few storms on Tuesday. It is possible that these storms may end up being confined to the eastern sections of our coverage area. While Wednesday looks mostly dry as of now, a front may bring renewed storm chances for the end of the workweek. That may also be enough to cool off high temperatures as well.
