A cold night throughout the region with warmer days ahead.
A Freeze Warning has been issued for portions of northern Arkansas, southeast Missouri and western Tennessee from 1 AM Monday through mid-morning for temperatures as cold as 26 degrees.
Lows in most areas overnight will drop below freezing with a Freeze Watch expected Monday evening through Tuesday morning.
Although we expect sunshine on Monday, highs will be around 15 degrees below normal.
Many areas throughout the region will struggle to see afternoon highs reach above 45 degrees.
With the official start of Spring on Tuesday we’ll see a nice warm up that will continue into next weekend.
Normal highs as we head towards the end of March average around 60 degrees which we’ll be at on Thursday then close by next Sunday. Overall temps will be above normal from Tuesday through next Sunday. Rain chances this week will begin on Thursday and run through the weekend and beyond.
