A couple of storm chances
Storms are possible on and off this week, but most of us will remain dry. Temperatures are going to be very close to normal for the duration.
Highs on Tuesday will be in the middle 80s with a light breeze.
The dew point will be fairly low, too. So the muggy factor will be tolerable… for now!
A line of storms will push through our area in the afternoon. A few spot storms may be strong.
Because of the minimal threat for a couple of strong to severe storms Tuesday afternoon, there’s a level 1 “Marginal Risk” in place for part of our viewing area.
There’s another chance for severe storms on Wednesday, but will mostly affect those to our north. If we do see storms, it would be well after midnight into early Thursday morning.
The timing for the line of storms to be severe on Wednesday is above. It will likely lose strength as it moves further southeast.
The dew point is going to increase this week. Wednesday and Thursday will be very muggy with dew points in the middle 70s.
Temperatures will hover in the middle and upper 80s for highs through the week into Father’s Day weekend.
