A hot and rainy weekend ahead

Saturday morning, showers and thunderstorms will be ongoing across the region. Storms and showers will continue through the afternoon and evening. The SEMO game Saturday evening could consist of rain and a few thunderstorms in the area. Sunday through Wednesday, rain and storm chances look to be likely every day. We could see some excessive rainfall in areas that are prone to flash flooding. Temperatures will look to be nicer and cooler in the 70s by Tuesday.

Rain totals could range from 0.25″- 0.50″+. There will be areas of localized flooding depending on where and how long rain showers and thunderstorms linger over a spot.

High temperatures Saturday will reach the mid to upper 80s under mostly to partly sunny skies with rain and storms.

North winds will continue to be light near 5-10 mph.
