A hot and sunny Monday- Storm chances Tuesday
Going into your Monday afternoon, we are looking to be hot in the lower 90s with calm winds and mostly sunny skies.
A hot and mostly sunny Monday ahead for all of us. A few isolated rain showers will try and develop in the afternoon. Temperatures will remain hot in the upper 80s and lower 90s all through this week. Tuesday, scattered to widespread storms look to be possible, which will try and cool a few of us off into the 80s Wednesday and Thursday. Daily chances for rain showers and isolated storms continue through Friday.
Tuesday morning, temperatures will be a bit warmer in the lower 70s for most of us. There is a small chance for some rain in the early morning hours in SE Missouri.
Tuesday, high temperatures will mostly be in the low to mid 90s. Some areas will be cooler due to increasing cloud cover and scattered rain showers.
Tuesday afternoon, scattered storms will begin to develop across the region near 11am- 1pm. Some storms could have some gusty winds and heavy downpours as well as cloud to ground (CG) lightning.
