A lot of wind Tuesday, storms Wednesday into Thursday

Temperatures are going to be very mild for the next few days. 60s and 70s Tuesday and Wednesday, then back into the 50s on Thursday. Storms are going to be possible Tuesday, then again Wednesday night into Thursday. Some of those have the chance at being severe.

Rain will be possible on and off Tuesday, but the real story will be the wind. We’ll see a sustained wind at 20 to 40 mph, with gusts near 60 mph.

The timing for the windiest part of the day will be from noon through 6-7pm. Wind gusts will be near 60 mph.

The wind will be around for all of us, too. Again, 50-60 mph wind gusts will be possible.

Because of this, there is a High Wind Warning for much of the KBSI viewing area. Where there isn’t a High Wind Warning, a Wind Advisory is in place.

Strong to severe storm will be possible late Wednesday into very early Thursday. Hail and damaging wind will be possible.

Because of the strong to severe storms rolling through Wednesday night into Thursday, a Marginal to Slight Risk is in place.
