A quiet end to the year

Following a few cloudy days with light precipitation, the sun and warmer temperatures come back on Saturday.

A few more clouds are likely in the early morning hours, before skies clear up bringing lots of sunshine on Saturday.

Slightly warmer temperatures will continue into the weekend, with many highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s across the FOX23 viewing area.

A closer look at our New Year’s weekend forecast shows near normal temperatures. If you plan to celebrate around midnight New Year’s Day temperatures will be in the upper 30s, a little chilly so you will want to dress warm. We stay dry heading into the new year.

Saturday will be another near normal day, temperatures cool down through the middle of the first week of the new year. We stay dry for a while, with the next best chance for any precipitation arriving on Wednesday.
