A quiet pattern setting up over the next week (7/10/22)
Sunday was another quiet day across the FOX 23 coverage area. We stayed dry, temperatures were warm, and it wasn’t overly humid.
For Sunday night we expect clear skies, with overnight lows dropping into the lower and middle-60s. Sunny conditions will stick around into Monday. That will help temperatures climb into the lower and middle-90s for almost everybody.
You may notice the humidity a little bit more on Monday afternoon. For that reason, our “Skeeter Meter” sits in the High category on Monday. However, we expect a cold front to pass early Tuesday which should knock the humidity down a few notches.
Speaking of that cold front passage early Tuesday, it may drop temperatures a few degrees during the afternoon as well.
There is an outside chance of a stray shower popping off along the front Monday night and into Tuesday morning, but overall chances appear low at this time. As of now, this appears to be a largely dry frontal passage.
For the rest of the week, the weather stays quiet. It’ll be a warm stretch, without many opportunities for measurable precipitation.
