A rainy and stormy Memorial Day Weekend
Friday, mostly sunny skies with a light breeze and temperature in the low 70s. Friday evening into Saturday morning, rain showers and a few scattered thunderstorms move in. Average storm total rainfall is forecast to be 1 to 2 inches through Saturday morning, but locally higher amounts are possible, especially across SE Missouri. Friday morning, temperatures will be quite cooler, in the upper 40s and lower 50s for all of us.
Friday, expect below-average temperatures in the lower 70s, with mostly sunny skies and northwest winds 5 to 10 mph. A pleasant Friday to get out and enjoy.

There is a MARGINAL and a SLIGHT risk for excessive rainfall through Saturday. Some rain showers and storms could have heavy downpours, which could drop an inch or more of rain an hour. Flooding will be likely in parts of SE Missouri through this weekend. Remember, TURN AROUND AND DON’T DROWN.
