Another storm chance Thursday
More rain and thunderstorms will be headed our way Thursday late afternoon and into the evening hours. Heavy rain will then become possible late Thursday into Friday. After that, we dry out and cool off somewhat. However, the “cool down” will still be above average for our high temperatures.
For Thursday, we’ll start out dry and mild with temperatures in the 40s. We warm up into the upper 50s by the afternoon with the chance for storms increasing later in the day.
The best chance for storms will come overnight, but spotty storms will be possible in the afternoon, as well.
Severe weather is possible on Thursday with much of our area in a Marginal Risk. The Slight Risk is in our southern viewing area and the Enhanced Risk is further south. It’s in this Enhanced Risk where the best chance for severe weather will be.
Heavy rain is likely for all of us. Most of this rain will fall late Thursday into Friday.
Because of the heavy rain potential, a Flood Watch is in place through Friday.
