Blustery Thursday, warmer by the weekend

It’s going to be chilly again on Thursday, but we start to warm up on Friday and into the weekend. Precipitation chances are small for the next several days.

At 5:05am, April 2nd, 1 mile northeast of Kevil in McCracken County, KY:

A brief EF-1 tornado struck just east of the
Woodville community in far western McCracken
County, KY. The tornado moved parallel along
the south side of Woodville Road. The most
severe damage was to a house that had a
portion of its roof removed. Another couple
homes suffered facia and siding damage.
About a dozen trees had large limbs downed.
The tornado path was about 0.6 mile in
length with an estimated maximum width of 50
yards.

For Thursday, we’ll start the day on the cool side and in the middle 30s. We won’t warm up a whole lot, either!

It’ll be a little cooler to the north and a little warmer to the south. We may see a few 60s near Poplar Bluff and Kennett.

After a cool couple of days, the 60s comes back for the weekend and the 70s by next week. Storms will be possible Sunday and then again Tuesday.
