Chance for rain and cooler temperatures Saturday (7/29/22)
As a boundary shifts to the north, it brings with it a shot at some more rain for the weekend and a wind shift out of the southwest. If showers develop, high temperatures will remain on the cooler side for Saturday afternoon. Some areas will likely only make it into the low to mid 70s.
The Skeeter Meter will be bumped up to in the “Ugh” category into Monday for the increased chance of standing water with any accumulating rainfall. Dew point temperatures will be close to 70° on Saturday and mid to upper 70s Sunday into Monday, so there are more humid days to come.
Higher temperatures start to appear in the forecast once the rain chances diminish next week. With August starting on Monday, temperatures will be closer to the normal with highs close to or just above 90°.
