Chances for rain and storms continues

Wednesday afternoon and evening, isolated thunderstorms will develop in parts of Illinois and SE Missouri.  These thunderstorms will move SSE through the late evening hours. Locally heavy rainfall could cause low lying areas to flood. Be aware if you live near creeks, rivers or any low lying areas. Everyday has a chance for some scattered rain showers and storms across the region. Temperatures will warm back up into the lower 90s by Thursday and persist into next week.

Wednesday morning, all of us waking up to temperatures in the low to upper 60s. There will be some sunshine in parts of SE Missouri and Illinois through the morning hours. By Wednesday afternoon, isolated thunderstorms will move across the region.

StormCast shows a few rain showers and thunderstorms moving through tonight. Wednesday evening, more scattered thunderstorms will develop and move south through the evening hours.

Wednesday afternoon, high temperatures reaching the upper 80s across the region. A light northwest breeze will try to keep temperatures below 90s degrees.
