Chilly Thursday Morning, Mostly Sunny and Pleasant Afternoon
Forecast:
Another chilly evening ahead across the Heartland as temperatures continue to drop on Wednesday evening.
Forecast low temperatures tonight will be a mixed bag of 40s and a few upper-30s. Mostly clear skies tonight are expected across the region.
Temperatures will fall into the upper 30s for Cape Girardeau under mostly clear skies. Be prepared for chilly temperatures as you head out the door on Thursday.
High temperatures tomorrow will be close to average in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Winds out of the north-northeast will help keep the northern portions of our viewing area on the cooler side.
We will reach the upper 60s under mostly sunny skies tomorrow in Cape Girardeau with a northerly wind between 5 and 10 miles per hour.
High temperatures will continue in the lower 60s through the weekend. Increasing cloud cover as we head into the weekend before chances for showers firmly hit the forecast on Saturday. Chances for much needed rain will continue into next week.
