Chilly Tuesday, much warmer Wednesday (12/26/22)
Freezing drizzle is falling this Monday evening and wet roadways from the snow earlier today are freezing up tonight in many spots now that the temperatures are falling below freezing. Black ice is likely, especially on untreated surfaces, bridges, and overpasses. Please use extreme caution if you need to be out tonight.
We’ll see a chilly start to Tuesday and we don’t warm up too much. Our average high for this time of year is in the middle 40s, so we’ll fall short of that. There will be a mix of clouds and sun with a south breeze.
It’ll be a chilly day for everyone Tuesday, too. Highs will struggle to get into the middle 30s across the board.
Wednesday is a step in the “warm” direction, though. Highs will be at or above average. A few of us might even get to 50! We will see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.
On Thursday, we warm up even more with many of us getting very close to that 60 degree mark. However, there’s a good chance we’ll see some rainfall Thursday.
The rain chance lingers into Friday, the weekend, and into the New Year. Highs, however, will continue to be well above average!
