Chilly Tuesday, precipitation chances later this week
With clear skies tonight, we may see the Northern Lights after sunset. We’re in between the low visibility and glow lines, so the glow is the most likely thing we’ll see. If you happen to be out and can see the glow, take a picture of it with your phone. It can pick up the lights better! We would love to see video of any aurora footage you may get. You can upload that using our Now Local News App HERE.
It will be chilly overnight. Lows by early tomorrow morning will drop into the teens. Well below average!
We try to warm up by Tuesday afternoon, but will fall short of the average high by 5 to 10 degrees.
The next chance for precipitation comes our way early Wednesday. A little rain/snow mix is possible.
If we do see precipitation Wednesday, it’ll be rather light. Less than a tenth of an inch is expected.
We’ll be near normal for temperatures Wednesday and Thursday, the a cold front blasts through and drags our temperatures way down. Light snow will be possible on and off Friday through the weekend.
