Cloud cover departing soon (5/27/22)
Although clouds remained for almost all of the daytime hours on Friday, it was a drier day. Showers were very few and far between, with almost everyone staying completely dry.
The clouds are on their way out. They will exit the FOX 23 viewing area from west to east on Friday evening. We should be mostly clear by Saturday morning. Although skies will clear by then, we cannot rule out some patchy fog. Low temperatures should be in the low to mid-50s for most.
We will turn warmer to kick off the holiday weekend. Expect mostly sunny skies on Saturday with highs in the upper-70s and lower-80s.
The sunshine and warm weather continues for the rest of the weekend and on Memorial Day. We shouldn’t get used to these conditions for too long, however. By Wednesday we’ll have a cold front approaching which may bring the chance for some scattered storms. Storms remain possible into Thursday, and we’ll encounter another push of cool air by that time too.
