Cold air headed our way
A COLD WEATHER ADVISORY is in place for most of the viewing area Saturday morning. Leading up to that, temperatures will be sliding downhill.
The highs on Friday will be cold but tolerable. Still well below average (mid 40s) though.
The really cold air pours in late Friday into early Saturday.
Any wind will drop the wind chill VERY quickly. 5 to 10 below is certainly possible.
After a bitterly cold Saturday and chilly Sunday, we start to warm back up. There’s a chance we may see some mixed precipitation Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
