Cold and snow possible Monday into Tuesday

Winter Weather Advisories are in place through Monday evening. A couple of inches of snow are possible, with higher amounts the further south you go.

Winter Storm Warnings are in place further south with a few inches of snow possible in this area through Tuesday morning. Travel will be difficult.

A storm system is going to come at us from the southwest tonight and will linger into Monday late afternoon for much of our viewing area.

The same storm will have a secondary push Monday night into early Tuesday, thus a little more snow possible in areas with the Winter Storm Warning.

Recent weather models have most of with less than an inch of snow, but the heavier snow is just to the south. That’s close enough to keep an eye on.

Overall, a half an inch to an inch of snow will be possible in our area into Monday night.

Highs on Monday will be very cold. Almost 30 degrees below average for some!
