Cold Start to Friday

Kbsi Watch

We are looking at a chilly start to April! Friday will see temperatures hovering around the freezing mark early in the morning, so a Frost Advisory and a Freeze Warning is in place for much of the KBSI viewing area. It won’t take long to warm up with plenty of sunshine, the temperatures will climb into the middle and upper 50s by the afternoon.

Our weekend is looking warmer, too. Highs will get back into the lower and middle 60s, which is pretty close to average, and overnight lows will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s. There is a chance for rain on Saturday but the sun will come back on Sunday.

The extended forecast shows quite a few chances for showers and thunderstorms, especially during the first half of the week. The severe weather threat is low, for now, but it’s something we’ll keep a close eye on.
