Cold Start to the Work Week

Low temperatures on Sunday will start us off near average for this time of year. Lows will be in the lower to mid-20s with winds out of the south southwest between 5 and 10 miles per hour.

High temperatures will be a few degrees below average. Mostly cloudy skies and some patchy morning fog will look to keep temperatures cooler with winds out of the south southwest gusting to 20 miles per hour. A few flurries could be seen throughout the afternoon in the northern portions of our viewing area.

Wind chills will be at the freezing mark for most of the area, keep a jacket on hand for any outdoor plans to wrap up the weekend.

Cape Girardeau will see highs in the mid-30s tomorrow, with mostly cloudy skies continuing into the afternoon and early evening.

The work week starts cold on Monday, highs will remain in the lower 30s until the middle part of the week. Near-average temperatures return on Thursday into Friday, with a chance of a few showers going into next weekend.
