Cold weather alerts in place
A COLD WEATHER ADVISORY is in place from late Saturday night into Sunday morning. Temperatures will drop into the single digits with wind chills 5 to 10 degrees below zero.
Before it gets really cold, Saturday will be chilly, as well. We’ll be a good 10 degrees below average.
We really get cold early Sunday. Temperatures early in the morning will be in single digits and teens.
With a light wind, the wind chill will drop below zero. Below is the forecast for Cape Girardeau. Colder wind chills are possible for those in the COLD WEATHER ADVISORY.
We’ll see teens and 20s for highs Sunday afternoon.
This cold snap won’t last very long. Highs in the 50s return by the middle of next week!
