Cold week ahead, snow possible into the weekend
We saw quite a bit of freezing rain and some snow, below are a handful of the reports that have come in.
Along with the freezing rain, we had quite a bit of sleet in Carbondale.
Tuesday morning, temperatures in the lower teens up north and lower 20s south of Cape Girardeau.
Temperatures will start out in the mid teens under cloudy skies, as we get into the afternoon, the sun will start to come out raising our temperatures into the lower 30s.
Tuesday, temperatures in the mid 20s and lower 30s with winds out of the northwest 5-10 mph.
Temperatures staying in the upper 20s and lower 30s through Saturday. Our next warm up looks to be Sunday into Monday.
Friday into Saturday, snow is possible as another system will move north east from Texas Thursday. This system is still a few days out, so we will keep you updated throughout this week.
