Cool weekend, rain next week
Temperatures are going to be below average for a while, but the weekend is going to be dry. The chance for more rain comes our way next week.
It’s going to be a little chilly on Saturday. We’ll start the day in the lower 40s before trying to warm up into the lower 60s by the afternoon.
It’ll be a little cooler to the north, but most of us will see highs in the lower and middle 60s. The wind will be out of the northwest at 10 to 20 mph.
Sunday morning will be a little colder. At or below freezing temperatures will be trying to move into SE Missouri!
Because of that, we have a Freeze Watch in place just to the northwest for early Sunday morning.
Those cold temperatures may help those of us with allergies. Other than grass, everything is looking “low”!
We may get close to a couple of record lows early Sunday, then again early Monday. We won’t warm up much next week, either!
