Cooler Temperatures and Mostly Sunny this Weekend

After a few morning showers much of the heartland should see mostly sunny skies and high temperatures today in the upper 70s. A light breeze out of the north between 5 and 10 miles per hour should make for a great start to the weekend.
Low temperatures will be close to 10 degrees below average, with temperatures falling into the upper 40s and lower 50s. Winds tonight are expected to be light and variable.
Another cooler day ahead on Sunday with high temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s with mostly sunny skies. Winds remain out of the north between 5 and 10 miles per hour.
A pleasant Sunday ahead in Cape with high temperatures in the upper 70s and mostly sunny skies. A north wind will keep temperatures cooler in the morning, but should make for a perfect afternoon to enjoy some time outdoors.
Stormcast keeps our area clear through the weekend outside of a few fair-weather clouds during the afternoon on Sunday.
Northerly winds will also bring drier air to the heartland, dropping dew points in the lower and mid-40s and lower 50s for our southern counties.
Mostly sunny skies continue as temperatures climb into the 80s starting on Monday. Temperatures will continue to remain near-average before warming up into the upper 80s and lower 90s by the end of the week.
