Cooler temperatures continue, rain on Thursday
Mostly sunny skies and cooler temperatures continue on Wednesday, then rain is likely Thursday into Friday. Thursday we will see scattered showers and a thunderstorm or two by the evening hours. Rain will continue throughout the morning hours on Friday, then gradually clear up for the remainder of St. Patrick’s Day.
A below average start to Wednesday, temperatures in the mid to upper 20s. Bundle up when heading outdoors in the morning, a light breeze of 5-10mph from the north will add an extra chill.
There is a Freeze Warning in effect until the AM hours of Wednesday, for parts of southeastern Missouri and northwestern Tennessee. Some plants and pipes could be impacted by the freeze and frost.
Wednesday starts off with temperatures below freezing, then gradually warms up into the mid to upper 50s for most of the KBSI viewing area.
Another day of mostly sunny skies and cooler temperatures, then warming up for Thursday. Scattered showers and some thunderstorms are likely Thursday evening into Friday. Cooler temperatures come back for the weekend, before gradually warming up for the first day of spring on Monday.
