Cooler with less humid days ahead.
Lows overnight will be at and below normal throughout the region.
A break from the heat for Sunday as temps drop into the 80’s.
Highs will average around five degrees below normal with cooler northwest winds gusting to around 20 MPH.
Hurricane Ernesto will impact the surf on the east coast with eight foot waves possible.
Below normal temperatures expected for most of the week ahead.
With a cold front pushing through the region much cooler air will be left behind as an upper level trough continues to move east anchoring itself along the coast and triggering showers and thunderstorms. Along with much cooler air moving in through this coming Thursday humidity readings via low dew point temps will feel more like what we usually see in mid to late September. Probably no complaints with the anticipated cooler temps and less humidity but obviously unusual for this time of year along with the lack of storm chances.
