Cooling off, rain chances later this week
The excessive heat and humidity will finally come to an end on Wednesday. It’ll still be warm, but more in line with what’s normal for late July. Storm chances increase
Wednesday will be near normal for afternoon highs. Lots of upper 80s!
The dew point finally falls back into the 60s on Wednesday, too. This means the humidity will be a LOT lower.
Cooler air and lower dew points means that the heat index won’t be in the triple digits anymore.
Thursday looks to be a repeat of Wednesday.
The next chance for rain comes our way Friday and into the weekend.
