Cranking up the heat (5/29/23)

Memorial Day had no issues weather-wise. Skies were mostly clear, temperatures were warm, winds were light, and the humidity was low.

Mostly clear skies and light winds remain overnight and into Tuesday morning. We expect overnight lows in the upper-50s to low-60s. With lots of sunshine, temperatures will quickly warm up on Tuesday.

Community Counseling Center

We expect temperatures to be even warmer on Tuesday afternoon, with highs in upper-80s across the area. It will be another day with light winds.

Dma Tomorrow High

Humidity levels will steadily increase on Tuesday, and by Wednesday, more humid conditions return. Couple dew points in the middle-60s with temperatures in the low-90s, and it will be a bit uncomfortable at times for the second half of the week.

Humidity Index

The combination of heat and humidity will allow for storms to reenter the forecast too. It does not appear that we’re dealing with a lot of severe weather this week. However, some pop-up thunderstorms will be possible starting Wednesday, lasting through Friday as things look now.
