Daily rain chances into next week (9/3/22)

Much of the FOX 23 coverage area was able to pick up some beneficial rainfall on Saturday. This marks the beginning of a pattern that brings several opportunities for rain in the coming days.

For Sunday, storms will be possible once again. We do not expect the day to be a washout, but storms will likely be ongoing at some point in the FOX 23 coverage area.

It should be a relatively cool day, with highs in the upper-70s and lower-80s. We’re forecasting a high near 80° in Cape Girardeau.

Dma Tomorrow High

Although temperatures will be somewhat cool, the humidity will remain high. That, along with increased rain chances will push the Skeeter Meter into the “Ugh” territory for the next three days.

Scattered storms remain possible on Labor Day. For that matter, we have daily storm chances through the next seven days. Each day will not likely be a washout, but you are likely to pick up some rain within the next seven days.
