Dry and hot through next week
The next 7 days are looking very dry and very warm. We’ll be in the upper 80s and lower 90s for the weekend with mainly sunny skies. The heat gets cranked up even more for the first half of the week. The record highs on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are all 94 degrees. Those are all in jeopardy.
If you have plans to run the 42nd Annual City of Roses Half Marathon and 5K this weekend, it’s going to be warm! Below is what the Saturday looks like for the first half of the day. Good luck!
With the lack of rain lately and lower dewpoints, the Skeeter Meter has been relatively low. The heat and humidity gets turned up quite a bit Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, but with the lack of rain, I’m going to keep the meter at “medium”.
