Dry and warm for a while
It’s not often that you get a whole week work of dry weather, but that’s what’s in the forecast as we head past the middle part of September. Adding to it, we’ll see temperatures that are several degrees above average for highs through the weekend and into next week.
On the positive side of things, it’s going to be hot, but it won’t be terribly humid. The dewpoint is expected to be below 60 degrees for the next several days!
Because of the low humidity, the Skeeter Meter won’t be too high for the next few days. It will be warm, though, so Thursday and Friday is at Medium for now.
Lastly, there are many wildfires in the western regions of the US and some of the smoke from those fires will try to make it into our area on Thursday. It won’t be near the surface, so you won’t smell it, but there will be a haze in some areas!
