Dry and warm for the time being (8/22/22)
If you’re hoping for much rain this week, it doesn’t appear that Mother Nature will grant your wish. We’re embarking upon another dry stretch of days across the FOX 23 viewing area.
Tuesday features a lot of sunshine. Again, we’ll see some afternoon fair weather cumulus clouds. High temperatures will be in the upper-80s in many locations, around normal for this time of year. We also expect the humidity to back off a little bit.
Speaking of the humidity, the Skeeter Meter will be in the “Medium” territory on Tuesday and Wednesday since the humidity won’t be oppressively high. However, it starts to return on Thursday, allowing the Skeeter Meter to return to the “High” category by then.
There aren’t too many rain chances over the next 5 days. It’ll also be a warm period, with highs back in the 90s by Wednesday.
We are including a small chance for rain on Friday and Saturday. However, I wouldn’t get your hopes up for seeing rain on those days since any showers will likely be very hit-or-miss in nature. That said, better storm chances arrive by the beginning of next week.
