Dry through the weekend, but rainy next week (12/3/22)
Cold air was transported into the area behind a cold front, keeping temperatures steady throughout the day despite the sunshine. Winds are going to calm through the night, but clouds will be increasing, so our low temperature will be experienced earlier Saturday night into early Sunday. Lows should be around the mid 20s for another chilly night, similar to Thursday’s low.
There is a chance for some light precipitation in portions just south of our area through this evening into Sunday, but chances are very small and have a lot of dry air to contend with. We are not expected to see much if anything from the slight chances that exist going into the end of the weekend.
Cloudy conditions can be anticipated for most of Sunday, but later in the day it’ll be partly sunny. Temperatures are going to be similar to what they were on Saturday, hovering around the mid 40s for a cooler day.
Next week will be active in terms of how many chances there are for rain. Being as warm as we’ll be with highs consistently in the 50s, there are rain chances every day of next week, extending to next Friday. It’ll be a dreary week because of this, but the moisture will be beneficial if we can get it.
