Excessive heat and dry through next week
The excessive heat will last through Thursday. Skies stay dry with upper 90s expected.
An excessive Heat Warning is in place until 10:00pm Thursday. Much of SE Missouri, southern Illinois and western Kentucky are included in the warning.
It is important to practice heat safety wherever you go when out doors for extended periods of time.
Temperatures will be in the upper 90s on Monday.
On Monday heat indices will range from 107 to 113 degrees.
Dew points the next several days are on the uncomfortable side. Humid and muggy conditions improve for next weekend.
