Excessive heat continues into next week
The warm temperatures continue throughout our weekend into the next work and school week.
A Heat Advisory is in place through 7:00pm for both Dunklin and Pemiscot counties in Missouri.
The remaining counties are in heat alerts through 10:00 pm Thursday. An Excessive Heat Warning is in place for parts of SE Missouri and Southern Illinois. An Excessive Heat Watch is in place for parts of western Kentucky.
Sunday will be another warm day with temperatures in the mid to upper 90s.
Heat indices will range from 101 to 110 degrees throughout the KBSI viewing area. It is important to practice heat safety wherever you go.
With high temperatures, humidity and dry conditions our chances for mosquito activity fall in the higher ranking.
Lots of sunshine and dry conditions expected throughout next week. Temperatures stay hot and humid in the upper 90s.
