Excessive Heat Warning Extended (6/15/22)
The forecast continues to be hot and humid with temperatures expected to be in the upper 90s and heat indices to be in the triple digits on Thursday, so the Excessive Heat Warning has been extended and now goes through Thursday evening.
We may very well see this Excessive Heat Warning continue into Friday since the temperatures and dew points look like they are going to continue to be very high, so be prepared for that.
As we head into Father’s Day weekend, we cool off… a little. Highs on Saturday and Sunday will be in the lower 90s for most of us, which is better than the upper 90s! Unfortunately, those upper 90s come right back next week. We’ll see highs in the middle 90s on Monday and into the upper 90s by Tuesday and into Wednesday.
Precipitation chances continue to be slim, but a frontal boundary will move through Friday morning giving us a chance at some moisture.
